Editorial Standards

How the Record Is Built.

ireldon Compendium operates under a set of editorial principles developed to ensure that its coverage of men's supplementation habits and nutritional awareness is accurate, independent, and editorially coherent.

Publication Framework

ireldon Compendium operates under the following editorial principles: articles are reviewed by at least one second editor before publication, sources are cited where appropriate, corrections are noted publicly, and writers disclose any commercial relationships that could influence their selection of subject matter.

Content published by ireldon Compendium is selected based on published nutritional research and reviewed for editorial accuracy by a second editor before publication. The journal does not accept sponsored content, affiliate-based writing, or any editorial arrangement that places commercial relationships above editorial independence.

The Editorial Process

From Subject to Publication

01

Subject Selection

Subjects are selected from the editorial record of men's supplement and nutritional habits — areas where independent nutritional research exists, where the broader supplement conversation contains misrepresentation that benefits from editorial correction, or where habit patterns documented in wellness writing warrant closer examination.

02

Evidence Review

Writers review available independent nutritional literature on the subject. Where peer-reviewed research is available, it is consulted directly. Where the evidence is limited, this is noted in the piece. The journal does not present inconclusive findings as established fact, and does not exaggerate the strength of the evidence base to make articles more compelling.

03

Editorial Review

Every piece is reviewed by a second editor before publication. The review process covers factual accuracy, editorial register, and compliance with the journal's vocabulary standards. Pieces that contain claims unsupported by the cited literature are returned for revision before publication.

04

Publication and Correction

Published pieces carry the date of first publication and the author's name. Corrections to factual errors are noted publicly at the foot of the relevant piece, with the date of correction. The original error is not silently deleted — transparency in the correction record is part of the journal's editorial commitment.

How Evidence Is Evaluated

Independent Nutritional Literature

The primary source category for ireldon Compendium's editorial work is independent nutritional research published in peer-reviewed journals. Where such research is directly relevant and accessible, it is cited. The journal does not cite industry-funded research as its sole evidence base for any claim.

Documented Habit Patterns

A significant part of the journal's editorial subject matter is the documented habits of active men — what they actually take, when, and in what combinations. This observational material is drawn from the writers' own supplement records and from the broader men's wellness editorial space. It is presented as documented observation, not as evidence-based guidance.

Editorial Register Discipline

The journal maintains a specific vocabulary discipline: it does not use language that implies certainty the evidence does not support, and it does not adopt the register of commercial supplement marketing at any point. The editorial voice is observational, evidence-informed, and appropriately qualified.

Content Notice

Articles published on ireldon Compendium are editorial in nature and reflect the writers' observations on everyday supplementation habits and nutritional awareness for active men. The content is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Readers with specific concerns about their daily routines are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional.

We recommend speaking with a qualified wellness or nutrition professional before introducing any new habit or routine to your daily life, particularly if you have specific dietary requirements.

03
Independence Policy

Editorial Independence

ireldon Compendium is an independent editorial publication exploring everyday supplementation habits, nutritional awareness, and active lifestyle choices for men. The publication is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental, or institutional body.

No editorial content on ireldon Compendium is produced in exchange for payment, product supply, advertising, or any other commercial arrangement with supplement brands, retailers, or affiliated parties. Writers are selected for their editorial voice and their familiarity with the published nutritional literature, not for their commercial reach or brand relationships.

Where a writer has a potential commercial relationship with any brand or product discussed in a piece, this is disclosed at the foot of the article. The editorial review process includes a conflict-of-interest check at the point of second-editor review.

Advertising, if carried in future editions of the journal, will be clearly labelled and separated from editorial content. The editorial team has no involvement in advertising decisions. This separation between editorial and commercial functions is a non-negotiable condition of the journal's founding editorial framework.
